Biomedical Engineering Course Details:

All of the prominent engineering colleges in India that offer Biomedical Engineering courses have set a particular selection process and eligibility criteria for diploma, UG and PG level BME courses. Students must complete Class 12 in the Science background with at least 50 to 60 percent aggregate marks to be eligible for admission to courses in BME at the undergraduate level. Students may go through the Biomedical Engineering eligibility criteria for courses at various levels in the table below:

Diploma in Biomedical Engineering	Students must complete Class 10 with at least 50% marks, particularly in the Science and Mathematics subjects.
B Tech Biomedical Engineering	Students must have passed Class 12 (Science Stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as mandatory subjects. Minimum marks requirement typically ranges between 50 percent and 60 percent, depending on the institution.
M Tech in Biomedical Engineering	Completion of a 4-year B Tech Bio medical Engineering or a closely allied field (e.g., Biotechnology) from a recognized university. Students must secure at least 55% marks in graduation.
Ph.D.	Completion of Biomedical Engineering Master’s programs (M.Tech. or M.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university with a good academic record. Qualifying scores in national-level entrance exams conducted by universities or institutes (may vary).
