RVCE Admission 2025
Admission to RVCE is based on entrance exams. The institute offers B.E. at the undergraduate level and M.Tech. & MCA at the postgraduate level. Candidates with a valid score in KCET/COMEDK UGET, followed by KEA counselling, can apply for B.E. Admission. For M.Tech, admissions are based on a valid score in the GATE or PGCET exams, while admission to the MCA program will be conducted based on KMAT or PGCET scores.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum 45% aggregate for admission to the B.E./B.E. (Lateral Entry) program in RVCE.
- For admission to M.Tech & MCA programs, candidates must have passed B.E./ B.Tech and Equivalent Bachelor’s Degree, respectively, in any discipline.
- He/She must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their mandatory subjects in 10+2.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates are selected for the program based on their rank in entrance exams such as JEE Main and KCET. Candidates need to register through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) after securing ranks.
- Further selection is made after the completion of the KEA Counselling process, and seats are allocated based on availability of seats, previous academic records, category, and other factors.
