BAMS in Maharashtra: Overview
Maharashtra has one of the largest groups of Ayurveda colleges in India. This page lists the 38 BAMS colleges in Maharashtra that TurtleEdu covers, with a separate page for each college's fees structure, NEET cutoff and admission details, and explains how BAMS seats are allotted in 2026.
📌 Updated 25 Oct 2026. AYUSH (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) rounds run later than MBBS/BDS rounds. Check the State CET Cell and AACCC websites for the current round before you pay any fee.
How BAMS Admission Works in Maharashtra
| College / seat type | Who allots the seat |
| Government & aided colleges — state quota | State CET Cell, Maharashtra (NEET UG merit, Maharashtra domicile rules) |
| Government & aided colleges — 15% All India Quota | AACCC (all-India AYUSH counselling) |
| Private colleges — state, institutional and NRI quota | State CET Cell, Maharashtra |
| Deemed universities | AACCC |
- Qualify NEET UG. All BAMS seats are allotted on NEET UG scores.
- Register on the CET Cell portal for NEET-UG courses (AYUSH included), pay the fee and upload your documents. Institutional and NRI quota seats also need this registration.
- Fill your college preferences in each round. Use the fees structure pages below to shortlist colleges you can afford.
- Seat allotment: report to the allotted college with original documents and the fee before the deadline, or the seat is cancelled.
- Later rounds fill seats that stay vacant. Seats that are left after these may go to a final round.
Pro TipApply in both the CET Cell and AACCC rounds if you are eligible: AACCC covers the All India Quota and deemed universities, which the state process does not.

Can students from other states take BAMS admission in Maharashtra?
Yes, generally through institutional and NRI quota seats in private colleges, the All India Quota (AACCC) and deemed universities. State-quota seats are for candidates who meet Maharashtra domicile rules. Check the current CET Cell information brochure for the exact eligibility.
