Understanding JEE Mains 2025
JEE Mains is conducted by NTA twice yearly (January and April sessions). It is the gateway to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, and also qualifies for JEE Advanced (IITs). With 10+ lakh candidates, strategic preparation is key.
Subject-wise Strategy
Physics: Focus on Mechanics, Electrostatics, Waves, Modern Physics. NCERT + HC Verma for concepts, DC Pandey for practice.
Chemistry: Divide into Physical, Organic, and Inorganic. Physical Chemistry needs strong Math skills. NCERT cover-to-cover is essential for Inorganic.
Mathematics: Calculus (35% of Math questions), Algebra, Coordinate Geometry. Minimum 30 problems per day.

Mock Test Strategy
Start full mocks 3 months before exam. Aim for minimum 2 full mocks per week. Analyze every attempt and identify weak areas. Use NTA official mock test portal for accurate simulation.
Timetable
Study 8–10 hours per day: 3 hours Physics, 3 hours Chemistry, 3 hours Math, 1 hour revision. Sleep 7–8 hours for optimal cognitive performance.
